Mercy Home Celebrates Plant-Grow-Give

Updated: Aug 8, 2019

Greetings! We were so pleased to be joined by many friends and supporters at Under the Brooklyn Sky on June 15th at the Brooklyn Grange celebrating Mercy Home and our organic farming project, Plant-Grow-Give.

The view, the food, and the company were inspiring, and there was a great deal of joy and laughter throughout the evening. The event ended on a high note with our live auction of a pair of NHL Winter Classic tickets and NY Giants tickets as well as fabulous raffle items.

Because of you and your support, we were able to reach our fundraising goal and will be able to increase the reach of programs like Plant-Grow-Give.

At the heart of our services, Mercy Home hosts programs that engage everyone at all levels of ability, that elevate their self-esteem, and that promote independent living in whatever they choose to do. Each year, Mercy Home works with more than 200 developmentally disabled children and adults – about 80% of whom have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Your investment in our work is important to us – especially as we refine and expand our services for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Warmest regards, Janice Aris Executive Director
